Recently renovated, this well-hidden jam features an eclectic style that puts most fancy pubs to shame. They like to think of their little pub as place beyond the clouds, a hop, skip and a beat away from the city’s tumultuous vibe. A place for the brave. The outlawed. Where the talented lay their souls on small pieces of paper which end up hanging from the walls. Where big names from the jazz music industry walk in and out, unannounced, like walking into their own homes. Not a place for the faint-hearted. Raucous jam sessions, full-bearded waiters, a cosy setting lit by stage lights, some dainty small pillows and plenty of custom-made round tables paired with hot pink garden chairs.

The present centre of the Municipal Cultural House from Sfântu Gheorghe was built in 1897 by the Székely Mikó Secondary School, as home for teachers. Between the two world wars the town post rented the building, and between 1940 and 1944 it was the home of the pupils of the Mikó, who fled from Southern Transylvania. The town cultural house received it for use in 1981 and after large-scale transformation and renovation works the activity started in 1982 and has been diversified ever since. The cultural house primarily intends to be the home of those inhabitants of our town who are interested in and pursue cultural activities; it is a place where various community and individual initiatives and ideas can be realized. We consider it our important task to support the individual formation and group initiatives of amateurs. By means of our community and cultural programmes we wish to help those who want to get closer to their roots and also those who want to get to know better our culture and folk traditions.

Ponec Theatre, a brand new type of space dedicated to contemporary arts first opened to the public after a thorough reconstruction in 2001. The theatre's name refers to František Ponec who ran the famous cinema Royal Bioskop in the building from 1910. As a new platform for presentation of contemporary dance, the theatre has filled an important gap on the Prague cultural map. Since then, Ponec has become an important location where revitalisation of diverse fields is exerted, among them contemporary dance, movement theatre and all inspiring overlaps to other genres, alternatives and scenic technologies generated by contemporary arts in the Czech Republic. In 2004, Ponec opened for children, launching the Children Studio that focuses on creative development of children from the age of four.

The listed castle waterworks stands in the urban conservation area adjacent to the former archbishop mint near Kromeriz Castle. The building was built in the years 1893 - 1904 on the site of the old bishop's mill by Archbishop Theodor Khon. It was used for the operation of hydraulic components and equipment in the castle gardens and parks. Later, a sport facility was established here called "Orlovna". In recent years the building was long unused and fell into disrepair. It consists of two separate buildings - "Orlovna" which is used since 2008 as a gallery, and the "Waterworks" with preserved original features.

Kafé v kině (Cafe in the Cinema) is located in the foyer of Morava cinema, where a recent reconstruction created the unique opportunity for the establishment of a stylish cafe. We took inspiration in such cafe “Meccas” as Brno, Prague, Amsterdam, but also in other cities. The aim is to create a full-fledged place with a distinctive atmosphere that would offer something that has been missing in our city so far. The concept of the cafe respects the present cafeteria trends, which seek to take advantage from the unconventional cinema space, where concerts and other cultural events take place as well. The main idea is to link the quality cafe services with the same quality cultural productions, whether in the field of music, literature or visual arts. The aim is for the area to function as a pleasant cafe during the day and got the atmosphere of a pleasant club in the evening. The entire space is non-smoking and open to all types of customers. The pleasant environment is achieved among others by the presence of a small bookcase, with the possibility to borrow books or read them directly in the cafe. There is also a gramophone with vinyls and a piano available to both the artists and the common guests.

La Fabrika was formed in 2004 - 2007 by linking the factory buildings from the early twentieth century - Prague metallurgical factory and Richter´s machinery factories. The name "La Fabrika" is a combination of the words "La" - according to the New York phenomenal theater La Mama - and "Fabrika" according to the original purpose of the buildings. The reconstructed building captivated experts as an example of a unique combination of old industrial and modern architecture. Universal space suitable for theater, dance, as well as concert performances and exhibitions became popular not only among musicians, but especially among theater artists who appreciate a multi-use area of the former factory building and outreach to new and novel forms of theater. In November 2012 a new theatre - Slévárna - was added to the already existing premises, equipped with the latest technology and lighting design. The Slévárna area can present as one large hall or it can be divided into two smaller areas by moving the walls. La Fabrika is one of the few theaters that were built and funded entirely by private funds. The project was developed by atelier KAVA (Lukáš Ježek, Tomáš Novotný, Tomáš Zmek).

The Szekler Museum of Ciuc, as an institution, was born in 1950. He inherited the content of the exhibition from 1930 and the collection of the catholic gymnasium. In the first years the biggest challenge was to find a proper residence for the institution. In 1954 the museum owned 17 rooms and 954 museum objects. In the second half of the 1950s the museum even succeeded in giving out yearbooks, while it also had to meet the requirements of the communist regime: it had to be the mouthpiece of the communist ideology. Under the directorship of Géza Nagy (1959 - 1963) the objects of the museum were all registered. In 1961 the previously nationalized library of the Franciscan order, an invaluable intellectual product, entered into the possession of the museum. On the beginning of 1990 the co-operative of the museum chose as director András Szabó. Under the terms of democracy the directorship offered total freedom in the museum work. Internal and external professional relationships have come into being, the individual scientific activity of the researchers has boomed, and there have been lots of exhibitions and yearbooks that wore the sign of the Szekler Museum of Ciuc.

Splaiul Mureșului
Teba is an alternative approach to culture and artistic expression, and is, at the same time, the first industrial building conversion project for cultural purposes in Arad. By revitalizing two of the old industrial halls in the former textile factory Teba, the place has become an incubator for contemporary arts - film, theater, music, architecture and design, urban art, visual arts, etc. Teba is a culture-led regeneration project implemented by the non-governmental organisation CitiZenit based in Arad, in order to stimulate the local community, to initiate creative and innovative experiments in the artistic, social and cultural field, and to promote arts, education, self-exploration and culural development.

Located in the old city center, near the public garden, "The Music Pub" garden is a rather new appearance in Braila's restaurant scene. But what makes it so special aside from the menu, which is made of both traditional and modern recipes , is the fact that here take place all sorts of culture events like live concerts, karaoke night, movie night, comedy nights ad so on
